Guest Post from Daddy: Happy Fathers Day!

Mila,

Spending time with you and watching you grow up these past 15 months has been a wonderful blessing to me. Before you were born, I didn't know what to expect, but you have surpassed all of my expectations.

You are a beautiful, sweet, hilarious little girl. You are such a happy baby. Your curiosity warms my heart and makes me so proud. It is such a joy to see you learning new things every day. I think it is so sweet how you hug and kiss your friends and cousins (and Harry), but I like it best when you run to me and put your arms around me. It is so awesome to see you develop your own personality. Right now, I would say that your top interests include trying new foods, saying "hi" and "bye" to anyone who will listen, reading books, Mommy's jewelry, ice cubes, Harry, shoes, and getting tossed around by me. You are also developing a delightful sense of humor with impeccable comedic timing.

Not a day has gone by that Mommy and I haven't smiled, laughed, and talked about you with pride and love. You add so much to our lives. Even though you've been saying "dada" for about a month, I'm glad Mommy now knows how that makes me feel, since you've been saying "mama" for almost a week now. It also makes us so proud how you can understand some of the things we say to you now, even if you can't yet respond with words. At the bottom of this note there are some pictures of the fun time we had with Mommy yesterday.

I still don't know what to expect from you as you continue to grow, but I do know that I look forward to many more years of laughter and joy. Mila, you're perfect for this daddy. I love you so much.

Love,
Daddy
