Happy Birthday, Willow June!

What a wonderful year 

it has been with our sweet Willie.

She definitely deserved a party!

Since we hadn't been back

to Michigan all summer,

we had the party in Holland 

so family could join in the celebration. 

We made it a music theme 

for our little melomaniac,

and held it at the 

Bay Meadows clubhouse & pool

so the kids could swim. 

We noshed on chicken salad with
 fresh baked rolls,
 crudite, baked brie,
yellow & pink watermelon,

and of course, cookies and cake. 

There were lots of colorful & noisy

little musical instruments 

for the kids to take home

(sorry, parents!),

as well as wooden maracas to decorate. 

We also made 

cherry lemonade for the kiddos,

 and sangria for the adults. 

We partied with cousins, 

good friends, & family from both sides. 

So many people love 

this lucky little lady!

Willow and her Great-Grandmother, Mimi. 

We gave her a "smash cake"

but I think her cousins enjoyed

 it did more than she did!

She did however quite enjoy this 

silly bucket on her head!
