How to eat pizza, Mila style:

Grab a slice.

Sprinkle with cheese

(aka smash the shaker into the pizza).

Daintily pick up with fork. Stuff in a big bite.

Realize, "This stuff is good!"

Forget the fork and just shove it in with hands.

Monkeys, Hippos and Bears! Oh my!

On Sunday we ventured out to the Brookfield Zoo. Not all the animals were there because it's off-season, but it was a free day so still well worth our while. The primate house was a favorite, as were the polar bears. Mila found the dark aquarium a bit scary--when we asked her if she liked the fishies she said, "I wanna go back home!"

She perked right up at the playground area.

We will definitely be back this summer.

Dream Girl

This conversation took place 30 seconds before I snapped the above picture:

Mila just woke up from her nap.

Mommy walked over to her, crouched down and said,

"Hi, honey. Did you have sweet dreams?"

Mila replied, "Ummmm, yep."

"Really, what did you dream about?" Mommy asked.

Mila raised her eyebrows and answered,

"A water park."

Good thing we are planing to take Mila to a water park for her birthday!
