3 Year Old Pictures

Amazingly, Mila is just a few weeks away from her 3rd birthday.  

Here are a few shots of our little baby in all her big girl glory:

The Big Star Rock Star

As Mommy & Daddy discussed where to grab dinner Saturday night, Mila decided for us: Big Star.  

We think it's really funny that she loves to go there so much as it's pretty much regarded as the hippest hot spot in Chicago's 

Wicker Park, if not the entire city.  

It can be terribly busy, but as parents living in the city, we know the times to go when we won't have a long wait (on weekends that means just when they open or right before all the cool, scarf-wearing non-parents come in for dinner). Our timing was perfect and Mila acted like a ham the whole time we were there--munching on chips, sipping her limeade and taking pictures of herself.  

Our girl knows how & where to have a good time! 

Sweet Saturday

Yesterday, while Mommy waited in line at the deli counter, 

Daddy took Mila to the bakery just to "look" at the cupcakes...

 Guess he couldn't resist getting a sweet treat 

for his sweet girl.

 Even though Mila LOVES chocolate and told us

 it "makes my tummy warm"...

 ...she shared her cupcake with Mommy and Daddy.

A day filled with sledding, cupcakes and 

watching The Little Mermaid for the 

first time together = A very sweet Saturday.
