Man, the emotions were going
wild over here
in the beginning of September!
Our little baby was headed to
KINDERGARTEN.
All day, 9 to 4, five days a week.
Like every other parent we
wondered where the time had gone.
Lolo will have to get used
to life without her constant playmate.
Okay, Mila got over the sappy stuff
pretty quickly
(Mom did not...).
She was very ready.
Navigating the Chicago Public School system
in order to get Mila at a top school
proved to be a true test
of patience and endurance.

But after months of freaking out uncertainty,
she was offered a competitive spot
at Pritzker Elementary in Wicker Park.
We were proud of her and SO happy,
and not just because it's across the
street from Big Star ;)
This little girl.
This one is everything
we hoped for
and so, so much more.
